1) Why "Denny's Forest"?
At first, this name was related to the initial design of the blog which was green, full of other effects and with GIFs of leaves, therefore, I've decided to change the colors and maintain the leaves design. The blog's title is in English because the language has been part of my life so far, so the mixed language English-Portuguese has to do a little with who I am and how I think, what can't make any sense to other people. There were times I thought about changing the blog's title, but later I decided to leave it like that.
2) Does the blog has a specific subject or gender?
No, it doesn't. This blog was created with a very particular objective which is a space where I can express my thoughts, reflections, and opinions about anything else I want to write about. I like to organize plenty of ideas that come to my head, those that I rarely have the opportunity to express them through writing, or talking, or other art. The blog is about anything which I think needs a text about, there is no specific gender or subject. The blog is like I am: sometimes a lot of posts about music, other time about movies, and other time about anything else.
3) Why the posts have no period to be published? Could it be weekly or something?
It hasn't worked for me ever since the beginning. Write because you have to write or write to achieve a deadline has been in my life for a long time, so I don't want the same rhythm in the blog. I don't like the idea about the blog being included in the category "appointments" because it was created to be a space to what I want to talk about, so, if I don't feel I should write that time, then I would do it when I feel it.
4) Why the posts have a long period between them? And why they take so long to be published?
I write when I have time and the will to do it. That's it. Even though time has been the main obstacle to finish or start posts, I write only about what I like, something important to me in some way. The subject matters a lot and it influences the time to build the post, it can take some weeks to be finished, also I am a perfectionist person so I care a lot about the orthography, textual cohesion, and the images in the post, it takes time to do something that I would like to see in a post. Thus, the posts take a lot of time to be created, built, and then published. That's why there are few posts on the blog.
5) Why do you have a blog if there are podcasts and YouTube Channels nowadays? They are more accessed.
I am a person who likes to read and write and do other activities which are individuals, also to write, to me, is my best way of expression that I've improved all those years. Another important thing: I see myself as an introvert person, I don't like to be exposed and I don't like to be the center of attention. There are exceptions of course: situations when it has to be necessary, we live in a world for extroverts after all. Even though podcasts and YouTube channels can be more visited or accessed, I don't identify with them and I hardly access them. The blog isn't popular as before, but I prefer the blog, I prefer the writing, I prefer texts and because of these things Denny's Forest exists.
